July 1, 2008, Lee Harmon did not make any new friends today. There was no fish feeding going on, just fish gutting and cleaning. The water was getting pulled hard again. We caught these 8 on minnows (3), Beef Liver (4), and Sea Trout in Garlic (1). Next we head to Lake Martin for July 4th weekend and will probably play instead of fish.

Lee made friends with this cat and ended up talking me into letting him release him after he fed him about 5 big chunks of beef liver. He had also eaten that what was on the hook when he got caught. That sore lip didn't slow him down too much. Needless to say this cat escaped with a belly full.

Caught this one on June 30th in swift current. The River dropped about a foot in the hour we were there. Lee hand fed this new friend of his some beef liver and then wanted to release him since they became so close. I hope he does not get this close with all the cats he meets down the road.

Caught these 6 on the Alabama River on June 28, 2008. I put a few noodles out in 2 different areas and got 3 at each spot. I have been having luck near Pintlala Creek and near the new River Ridge development area.

Lee Harmon caught this 5lb bass at Lake Martin in 25 feet of water that is actually supposed to be 37 feet deep. We slightly need some rain and lots of it. Notice how far back from him the dock is? I guess the bright side is the fish are all closer together and should make them easier to catch.

Stripe Bass caught at Chimney Rock on Lake Martin. Stripes are known to get much bigger but this was caught on 8lb test line with very light tackle. That made for one hell of a fight!!!

Caught all of these on Elkahatchee Creek at Lake Martin with a Model A Bomber - Firetiger except for the catfish seen on the right. The cat was actually found on an unclaimed jug we came across. Great day, caught all these in about 2 and a half hours. Its hard to tell but there are 38 strung up!!!
